Is it sometimes normal for pregnancy hormones to drop?


My pregnancy hormones were doubling until I had gotten really sick and they dropped by 1point. I am about 6to7 weeks. I havent had any cramping or abdominal pains or even any bleeding . Could this b normal, should i be freakin out, or does this sometimes happen? Once again they only went down by 1point from what my doctor said.

MDsweetie 		I think one point is ok and if there was some kind of reason to be on alert then I think your doctor would have said something. The hormones will level out about 10-12 weeks.

MDsweetie 		If they had decreased by a lot, than I would be very worried. Dropping by 1 point..I am not so sure. All I remember is that when I was first pregnant they told me the numbers should double every 2-3 days I think...what did your doctor tell you? They would be the best person to ask this question, and I don't want to make you nervous..believe me, I've been there!!

Try not to worry, and call and speak to either a nurse or a doctor..they should be honest with you and let you know what they think is happening.
