How long does it take for Arkansas pregnancy medicaid to kick in?


I applied for Medicaid in Washington county about 7-8 weeks ago and still have not heard anything, when I called them they said it could be another 3 weeks before they look over my application. I am currently 30 weeks pregnant and running out of time and I need to see a doctor. Does it normally take this long?

anonymous 		Last year I was pregnant. Unfortunately I lost my baby when I was 2 months pregnant. I was treated at the clinic san francis CLINIC in Springdale AR. at the clinic took 3 weeks to give me an appointment. that the attending physician is only available on Thursdays and Fridays. I made an application for medicail. in human resources offices in Fayetteville. and these take longer than was scheduled appointment at the clinic. when I finally treated at the clinic told me that unfortunately my hormone level was low and would lose my baby. this doctor told me I would have avoided this if I had attended the doctor earlier. You think that's fair. TO LOSE MY BABY JUST DO NOT HAVE THE RESOURCES. OR MEDICAL CARE IN TIME
