How far along in pregnancy can you?


I wanted to know how far along in pregnancy can i tell the sex of my baby through an ultrasound? I am at 5 weeks and 3 days as of today and my next ultrasound is on the 29th of december. On the 29th ill be 9 weeks and 6 days. Would i be far along enough to know or do i have to be 3 months? Thank you for your answers (:

MDsweetie 		You won't be able to find out that early. Typical time is around 20 weeks. 16 weeks at the very soonest though.

MDsweetie 		i found out at 14 weeks. but usually you find out 16-20 weeks

MDsweetie 		Usually the EARLIEST is around 15 weeks, but won't be confirmed until 20 weeks. You won't be far enough along at 9 weeks 6 days.

I was told there was a 70% chance I was having a girl at 14 weeks, & then at 20 weeks it was confirmed, & on Nov. 16th at 7:46pm I did have my girl :)

MDsweetie 		that is way too early the baby does not even know what sex it is going to be at this point i reckon you need to wait till at least 16 weeks

16 weeks is possible but 18-22 weeks is normal

MDsweetie 		You'll have to be at least 4 most likely 5 to actually tell. The baby have to actually be form. Right now the baby is very tiny to tell.

MDsweetie 		The earliest you can determine the sex is at around 5 months (20 weeks). Any earlier than that and it might not be accurate (e.g. they would say it's a girl when it's really a boy, the penis just hadn't developed yet).
