Can pregnant women eat ground turkey tacos?


We're having family over for dinner tomorrow and I always used ground turkey instead of beef because its much lower in fat. My sister in law is 7 months pregnant, is she okay to eat it?

KBKeety 		yes, unless she has a non pregnancy related allergy - why don't you ask her?

KBKeety 		Yes she can. In fact, the ground turkey is although healthier than the beef and she will get the protein she needs as well. Just make sure the meat is cooked thoroughly.

KBKeety 		It should be OK, but it would pay to ask her, in case she has some type of aversion to it.

KBKeety 		As long as the turkey is well cooked and she isn't allergic to it, then it should be fine for her to eat it.
