If you are pregnant, will you have period cramps when your first missed period is supposed to start?


I usually have period cramps when I have my period. We are trying to get pregnant I am 6 days late. I feel like I could be pregnant but for the past 6 days iv been having light cramps. There is no sign of a period besides the cramps. Can you have cramps around the time of first missed period.its like light period pain.

MDsweetie 		Yep, sometimes women will get what they think is their period that is coming and it's not, so if your 6days late I'd suggest take a test. This happen to me with every pregnancy, it threw me off when my period never came lol

MDsweetie 		yes; everyone is different. When I first missed my period I felt like it was going to start because I had cramping and I felt bloated a lot. Then came along all the other symptoms so I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. good luck

MDsweetie 		I'm usually very regular. I had period type cramps and no period. I tested 2 days after my missed period. It was positive, take a test.

MDsweetie 		Take a test for sure, but the cramping feeling could be several different things, every pregnancy is different.

MDsweetie 		Yes, you could be pregnant, but it could be Stress or other problems. See a doctor to ensure there are no other health problems.

MDsweetie 		my first trimester felt like a 3 month span of feeling like my period was JUST about to start---totally nerve wracking.

MDsweetie 		Definitely. I started getting cramps that were basically the same as when I would get my period, but it never came. It kept feeling like it would come, but it never it. Take a test and see! Good luck!
